Published in the spring of 2019, this report includes water quality information for the 2018 calendar year. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires all water utilities to produce and distribute water quality reports on an annual basis. The Philadelphia Water Department uses this as an opportunity to present our programs and initiatives that preserve and protect our drinking water sources — the Schuylkill and Delaware rivers.
